Over the last 35+ years, CAT have been developing unique profile finishes to match any home, business or public space. Our finishes feature in thousands of areas across the UK from the likes of Theatre Royal in Drury Lane to Heythrop Park in The Cotswolds.
In 1999, we pioneered our hand-applied Antique Bronze and Antique Brass finishes to offer a product to theatres, stately homes and other properties where the need for a profile that offered the allure of aged brass to match the rest of the décor was highly sought after.
As we continued to build our portfolio, we worked with our customers and clients to design products that we knew their customers wanted such as our Designer Home Collection range which features Bronze, Light Bronze, Bright, Brushed Stainless, Designer Satin, Onyx Black, Pewter and new finish Brushed Brass.
One of our most recent finishes is the Black Anodised, the perfect black profile with high durability and corrosion resistance, created by adding an oxide layer on the surface.
CAT’s Designer Collection features high quality anodised aluminium stair nosings in two unique finishes, Bronze and Light Bronze. These outstanding finishes are perfect for installations where the iconic look of aged brass is desired, without the higher budget.

Brass Finishes
Antique Brass and Antique Bronze finishes are a chemically applied process to Brass products and are hand finished with a variance from batch to batch. Antique finishes are oxidised to create an aged and unpolished effect, foot traffic will accelerate the aging process.
