Staircases don’t just have to be a feature that get skipped over when it comes to your commercial project. They are something that you know are going to be seen and used every day, so utilising them as an added design feature is a great way to add a little bit of flair to your project.
In the 18th Century Stair Rods were used as a way of securing carpet or stair runners tightly to the staircase. The carpet could regularly be readjusted to reduce the wear from foot traffic especially on the corner of the steps. This means that a lot of older buildings such as stately homes, and theatres already feature stunning stair rods.
Stair Rods today come in many different finishes to ensure they fit in with your interior design perfectly, whether you are designing a modern office, upgrading a stately home, or revamping a theatre.
