ANEXT – Aluminium
The ANEXT is a 5mm gauge aluminium stair nosing tread extender that is available in a range of finishes with a variety of infill options and colours.
The ANEXT has an interlocking back edge designed to join any of CAT’s 5mm gauge Aluminium Stair Nosings with an interlocking feature. The interlocking back edge can also accommodate a ramp extension code ANRE25, another tread extender code ANEXT, or an ANE nap detail for use with carpet.
ANEXT is also available in Mill Aluminium finish as a heavy-duty aluminium stair nosing tread extender. Supplied with glass-fibre reinforced plastic GRPTI49.5 inserts designed for high foot traffic outdoor environments where enhanced slip resistance is desired. Product code: ANEXT GRP.

Suitability
Medium to heavy foot traffic in interior situations such as in hotels, pubs, clubs, cafes, shops, schools, commercial offices and apartment buildings.
Application
To extend the going cover of CAT aluminium stair nosings which have an interlock feature at the back edge. Can be used in combination with ANE Nap Detail for carpet installations and ANRE25 Ramp Detail to finish the nose edge of stone and timber stairs and stairs fitted with ceramics and hard flooring, e.g., laminates, LVT, vinyl, lino.
