Product: BN90 Solid Brass Stair Nosing
80 metres of solid brass nosing, turned around without compromise on quality or finish.
Fenton Town Hall sits at the heart of Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, a striking Victorian building constructed in 1888 by local pottery owner William Meath Baker, originally serving the community as a magistrates court and police station. Over a century later, the building has found a new lease of life as a performative arts and gallery space, home to local businesses and a café, breathing new purpose into its historic walls.

In March 2026, CAT were brought in to assist with the refurbishment of the theatre area, a transformation of the original courtroom into a dedicated performance space, giving local talent a stage to shine.
Before

The centrepiece of the brief was a wide, feature staircase, and the client wanted the brass nosing to make a statement. There was only one product for the job, our BN90 Solid Brass Stair Nosing. With its distinctive ribbed brass tread, the BN90 commands attention, drawing the eye exactly where it should be on a staircase of this character.

From specification through to measurement, manufacture and delivery, the entire project was completed in just 10 days by our team, 80 metres of solid brass nosing, turned around without compromise on quality or finish.
