Studley Castle, nestled in the heart of England’s beautiful countryside, is a historic gem restored to its former glory. This magnificent castle, located in Warwickshire, offers a truly enchanting experience for visitors. Its stunning architecture, gardens, and rich history make it a destination to visit.
It was originally designed by the famous London theatre architect Samuel Beazley. Having a diverse past saw the building being used as a horticultural college from 1903-1960’s training the Women’s Land Army during both World Wars, and the home of the High Sheriff of Warwickshire.
Having undergone a £50 million refurbishment, CAT BN69 solid brass stair nosings were chosen to compliment the historic beauty of the 19th century country house.
The BN69 is a single channel brass stair nosing designed to butt up to flooring, or be installed with BNE brass nap lock profile for carpet installations and BNFE30 for retrofit installations.
This stair edging is supplied in CAT’s four signature brass finishes and can be supplied drilled or undrilled.
Around half the budget was spent on reinstating original features, the other on transforming the bedrooms and public spaces by installing custom woven carpet to communal areas including staircases, restaurants, cinema and not forgetting the Gin Bar. Part of our on-site survey was creating templates from multiple shaped steps, for our fabrication department to produce a custom fit.
