BNE NAP – Brass
The BNE brass nap detail with a pre-punched carpet gripper base is designed to be used in conjunction with a 4.8mm or 5mm brass nosing.
The BNE detail is fixed down after the nosing allowing the carpet to be stretched directly off the nosing detail.
The BNE detail is supplied in CAT’s four signature brass finishes and can be supplied in stock lengths or cut to customer sizes.

Please Note: Antique Brass and Antique Bronze finishes are a chemically applied process and are hand finished with a variance from batch to batch. They are designed to create an aged, unpolished effect.
Application
For installing behind 4.8mm and 5mm brass stair nosings to trap and protect the nap edge of the carpet on stairs. Dress down using a block of wood protected with carpet (or similar) and a hammer, working along the profile with even blows. Can also be used as a stand-alone profile when abutting carpet to 5mm floor coverings.
