BTI 49.5 – Brass
BTI49.5 Castellated Brass tread inserts are available in CAT’s 4 signature brass finish options to suit all installations.
Typical Installation: To define and provide slip resistance to the edge of stair treads. Tolerance allowance should always be made when rebating to allow for any variation in size. Samples are available prior to rebate.

Please Note: Antique Brass and Antique Bronze finishes are a chemically applied process and are hand finished with a variance from batch to batch. They are designed to create an aged, unpolished effect.
Application
For rebating into stone and wooden steps or between ceramic tiles, to provide a visual aid and some slip resistance. Can be used in combination with stair nosings of equivalent thickness to create extended step going cover. Installation guide available.
